Howarth Periosteal Elevators, which are double-ended instruments that are used in the elevation of the mucoperichondrium and the retraction of soft tissues in nasal surgeries. The elevator has a central streamlined handle and two dissimilar blades that can accommodate various surgical manipulations. It combines a sharp, pointed, narrow end that is used to begin the process of lifting the mucoperiosteum and a slightly wider, more rounded end that completes the tissue removal until bone exposure. Both tips are slightly curved. The elevator is 21.5 cm in length.
