Obwegeser Wedge Osteotome is used in mandibular sagittal osteotomy cuts to split the mandible.
The high strength and lightweight handle features to offer a heightened dexterity and a better grip. The overall length of the osteotome is 22 cm and it has a far-reaching neck that allows optimum navigation and forcible manipulations. The straight blade is 12 mm wide and is beveled on both sides to deliver clean and straight bony cuts. Blades with widths of 8 and 16 mm are also available.
