Common Uses:

Germany Medical Ballenger septum gouge is used in nasal reconstructive surgeries. It consists of a straight flat handle, a thin short neck and a long rectangular shaft that ends with a V-shaped cutting blade. The blade has a uniform width and features a rounded blunt edge, which facilitates the lifting of soft tissues from their underlying bone. The overall length is 15 cm and this featured blade is 2 mm wide. Other available widths range from 4 mm to 8 mm.
