The Terry Septal Osteotome is an instrument that is used to carve and model the bones of the nasal septum or detach them the hard palate in maxillofacial surgeries.  It consists of a cube-shaped handle with a long slender shaft and a bifurcated blade with a fork-like cutting edge that can be used to engage both sides of the nasal septum. The overall length of the tool is 19 cm.
