The Weil-Blakelsey Nasal Cutting Forceps are used in endoscopic sinus surgery to remove the bulla ethmoidal is and other ethmoidal air cells. The forceps has a distal hinge and the blades open at the tip of the instrument, and this provides access to the narrow spaces of the nasal cavity.
This forceps is also available as 45 Degree angled or 90 degree angled. These upturned forceps are more suitable to reach the structures that are higher up in the nasal cavity and the lateral wall of the nose.
